We begin with the visit of Pitigliano, leaning on a tufa spur, whose houses are built slender vertical itself of the overhang of the high tufaceous walls, open by a thousand caverns and tower houses; the country is called "Little Jerusalem" for the numerous and very active Jewish community established here since the fifteenth century.
We continue to Sorano, a small and ancient village made impregnable by an imposing fortress that still retains its medieval appearance with arches, towers, bell towers and a maze of narrow streets.
Then we get to Sovana and with a little trek, we cross the Vie Cave, also called "tagliata", fascinating routes dug in the open air in the hills of tufa, even higher than twenty meters and you reach the necropolis of Sovana of which makes part of the famous Tomba Ildebranda, one of the most important monuments of Etruria, dating back to the III-II century B.C.
